Week 09 11th-17th November
I never really looked at how the statement: "Good is the enemy of Great." until I started my own business. I can't just be good. I need to be great. Been good is not good enough to succeed. I can see that. There is always someone else out there that is fighting to be the best.
When I have had a good outlook on myself and had open minded thoughts and positive ones. I have been very good at what I have been doing. So, I need to remember to believe in myself more, so that others can believe in me too. If I believe it, they will too.
When leading in my church callings I can see that we need to teach and help uplift others to higher ground. I need to do that when I am selling my goods and services. I need to be able to lift those around me to higher ground and serve them with all my heart, mind and strength. I need to remember to stand up for my knowledge in my business and they clients will trust me for it.
Having a great passion for what I do and what I sell will be seen by those I come into contact with. My drive to be the best needs to show in how I conduct myself in the best way. I need to be honest and show that I care for their needs and not my own. This will allow them to want to return and my business will start to have recurring clientele. Growing from knowing that I am the best and they are receiving the fruits of it.
The interview I did this week with my Elder Brother was enjoyable. I really got to see what he is saying is very true and can see that I am applying some of those tips already in my business. Learning from those that have already had success is a powerful tool to use and should be used to benefit my company further.
I experienced something remarkable this weekend. The feelings one gets when you can relate and understand what another entrepreneur goes through is remarkable. I needed something yummy for Family Home evening the other night and my husband made some brownies. It was great and it gathered the kids well together.
I came across an advert one of my church friends put on her status selling already made frozen batters to bake. I immediately knew that this was what I needed to get. She delivered the items today and we spoke about the excitement we feel when we have clients.
I know that been a disciple leader is the way to go about my
business and helping others out too, like I did this weekend.
